Bitcoin ETFs Extend Inflow Streak to Seven Days With $2.98B Total and $134M Added Monday

U.S.-listed cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds ended Friday with another broad showing of investor demand, led by bitcoin products that recorded $134.5 million in net inflows. The result extended bitcoin ETFs’ positive run to seven consecutive trading sessions and brought the cumulative inflow during that period to approximately $2.98 billion.

The latest figures indicate that institutional and professional investors continued adding exposure through regulated market vehicles at the end of the week, rather than stepping away after several sessions of buying. BlackRock accounted for about $97 million of Friday’s bitcoin ETF inflows, reinforcing the asset manager’s role as one of the most important channels for traditional-market participation in digital assets.

Bitcoin funds remained the clearest destination for capital, but the day’s activity was not limited to the largest cryptocurrency. Solana-based ETFs generated a daily inflow that came close to ether’s total, while products linked to XRP and HYPE also finished firmly in positive territory. The breadth of the gains suggests that demand extended across several segments of the crypto ETF market instead of being concentrated exclusively in bitcoin.

ETF flows are closely watched because they provide a visible measure of buying and selling through exchange-traded products. Unlike direct purchases made through crypto exchanges or private funds, ETF creations and redemptions are reported by fund issuers and market data providers, giving investors a comparatively straightforward way to track whether money is entering or leaving a particular strategy. Positive net flows generally mean that demand for new fund shares exceeded the amount being sold back to the issuer.

That does not mean every dollar entering an ETF translates directly into an immediate rise in the underlying token’s price. Fund flows can reflect portfolio rebalancing, changes in institutional allocations, or shifts between different investment products. Market makers may also use arbitrage strategies to keep ETF prices aligned with the value of the assets held by the funds. Even so, sustained inflows are widely viewed as a sign that investors are willing to maintain or increase exposure.

The seven-session streak is notable because it shows persistence rather than a single day of strong buying. A one-day inflow can result from a temporary trade, a scheduled allocation or a short-term market reaction. A run lasting a full week indicates that demand remained positive across multiple sessions. At nearly $3 billion, the combined inflow also represents a meaningful accumulation of exposure through products that are accessible to institutions, advisers and other investors who may not be permitted or willing to hold cryptocurrencies directly.

BlackRock’s contribution further highlights the importance of large asset managers in the market’s development. The firm’s bitcoin ETF has become a major gateway for conventional investors seeking cryptocurrency exposure through an exchange-listed product. Its approximately $97 million Friday inflow made up a substantial portion of the day’s total bitcoin ETF demand, although the overall figure also included activity from other issuers.

The performance of alternative-asset ETFs added another dimension to the session. Solana’s near-parity with ether in daily inflows points to continued competition among major blockchain ecosystems for investor attention. Ether remains one of the market’s largest digital assets and supports a wide range of applications, while Solana has attracted interest for its network activity and role in decentralized applications. The source data did not specify the exact amounts collected by either group, but both recorded notable demand relative to the broader market.

XRP and HYPE funds also closed with positive flows, showing that investors were not limiting their allocations to the two largest or most established crypto assets. Such activity can reflect a willingness to seek exposure to different networks and market themes, though smaller or newer products may also carry greater liquidity and volatility risks. Positive ETF flows alone do not establish that those assets will outperform, and investors still face the possibility of sharp price swings.

The figures also come as the crypto ETF market continues to mature. Exchange-traded products have made it easier for investors to gain exposure within familiar brokerage accounts, while the funds’ daily flow data has become an important indicator of sentiment. Strong creations can support market liquidity and reinforce confidence, whereas persistent redemptions may signal caution or a shift toward cash and other assets.

Friday’s results therefore offered a broad, though not uniform, picture of demand. Bitcoin led the market with $134.5 million in new money, BlackRock supplied the largest identified share, and the seven-day streak lifted cumulative inflows to roughly $2.98 billion. With Solana, ether, XRP and HYPE products also ending the session in positive territory, the week closed with investors continuing to add cryptocurrency exposure through ETFs rather than retreating from the sector.
