BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has predicted that the crypto market will experience a crash in the near future, especially in the next few months. These events were buoyed by the election of Donald Trump in November, who pledged to make the US the global crypto hub, including hints at the idea of ​​creating a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve (BSR). This has driven demand and trading volumes for Bitcoin.

The partnership between US politicians and digital technology entrepreneurs has given investors confidence that the country will move forward with Bitcoin as part of its national financial strategy. However, Hayes is skeptical that such a plan will become a reality.

However, Arthur Hayes still sees Bitcoin and the crypto market as a whole as having a positive long-term outlook, although he predicts a short-term correction as Bitcoin approaches its $1-million-dollar price target.

The current situation, investment and speculation in the crypto market has caused the price of Bitcoin and other Altcoins to fluctuate significantly. Today, the price of Bitcoin has been adjusted down by 2.5% to around $104,150, hitting a new high of $108,250 in the past 24 hours even though prices fell this week, it still posted a monthly gain of 13.5%.

Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies have been hit similarly, with Ethereum down 4% to $3,855 just a day after it surpassed $4,000, while Cardano and XRP have also seen declines.
